The Prater racing team kicked off the 2023 outdoor karting season hot out of the gate. With the 11 hour drive from northern Indiana south to Luray Tennasse. The team was ready to shake down the karts for the first race of the year. JT Duty driver of the 91 kart ran 2 classes finishing 2nd and 1st in his feature event. Lawsen Prater driver of the #27 kart finished 1st in his class also. his older brother Greysen Prater finished 1st. We will see what the rest of the season has instore for thease young guns this season as they take on the high banks of owasso michigan, fight for the king of Columbus at tonystewart speedway, and try to regain the title of the Midwest Race Of Champions held at the worlds most famous dirt track ELDORA Speedway.
